I want to get more venue reviews up, (and have been planning on doing one soon on the 8×10) but other topics seem to pop up and we write about them. To be honest I didn’t know if anyone really liked the venue reviews. Now I know! Should have one up in July for sure.

As for studio reviews, we’ve only really used one studio, and that’s our home studio. That’s why we started reviewing studio software. But it wouldn’t be a bad idea to maybe interview some area producers/studio owners so some musicians can get an impression of who they may deal with.

All kidding aside….your website has been extremely helpful for someone like me getting back into the trenches after so long. I try to check it as often as possible and the venue review is what I look forward to the most. What few local music mags around anymore tend to write fluff where you guys tell it from the most important postion of all – that of the musician who is actually going to to be playing there. Great stuff.

How about throwing in your impressions of studios you may have used in the area? Just a thought.
